Wednesday Dinner

Amazing Amy is at it again! Join your friends for a great meal after the Celtic service. Menu for September 3: Mexican Fiesta: Chicken and Cheese, Quesadillas, Beans, Guacamole, Pico de Gallo, Corn/Bean Salsa, and Dessert. *Cost is $8.00 for adults, $3.00 for children under 12, with a $25.00 family maximum. Reservations required by 5:00 p.m. Monday, 706-291-9111 (Leave a message at Ext. 11). *Due to groceries and supplies costs, there will be a slight increase beginning September 3.

A young women's 24-hour retreat will be held Saturday and Sunday, January 3-4, in Blue Ridge at the lake homes of Stefi Ortman and the Kirklands. More details to come, but put Jan. 3-4 on your calendar as a time to recover from the Christmas & New Year's rush.

Young Adults--Save the Date!

SAVE THE DATE! Young adults, mark September 13-14 on your calendars for our day (and night and morning) of fun at the Lake! We'll go to the Harveys’ lake house in Armuchee for an afternoon of fun. Then, the men (and any of their children who wish) will spend the night there and have church at the lake on Sunday morning. This is open to all people in their 20s & 30s (and those who still consider themselves in that group), whether single, married/partnered, with or without children. Bring your friends! More details to come.

Pre-K – 1st Grade: Music Makers—6:30pm – 7pm
2nd - 5th Grades: Junior Choir—6:30pm – 7:15pm
Youth choir (6th – 12th grades) rehearsals begin Wednesday, September 3rd at 7:15pm.

Stations of the Cross--Not Just for Lent!

The Stations of the Cross is a meditation that can be meaningful all year. To this end, there will be booklets kept in the Tower Room for anyone who would like to participate in this meaningful walk through the sanctuary. One can do this alone, with another or with several participants and without a clergy presence. The rector encourages anyone who wishes to avail him/herself of this liturgy to feel free to do so.
