WHAT TO EXPECT:
The service on Sunday morning is always Holy Communion. The Episcopal Church is known for welcoming all people to our church and invite member and visitor alike to participate inour service. As a visitor you will not be singled out, ask to stand or sign up for any mailing list. You will be allowed to experience the worship service (called the liturgy) and participate as you feel comfortable.
The clergy, readers and choir all wear robes (referred to as vestments). All baptized Christians are invited to recieve the bread and wine of Holy Communion, but, you will not be made to feel pressured to receive it. Those receiving Eucharist will come to the front altar rail and recieve bread and/or wine. The wine is from a common cup which you may drink from, dip the bread into or not recieve it at all.
